Summer Course for Solo Singers

The course includes private instruction in song interpretation with emphasis on songs from Baroque to the present.

Course content:

Song interpretation (daily)
Voice training (daily)
Evening workshops
Musicianship

Applicants are requested to send a detailed list of songs along with their application:
- one song by Schubert,
- one song by another composer on the same poem
- one song by Brahms
- freely chosen songs.

An accompanist will be provided for the course.

Day of arrival is Sunday, July 18, 2010.
The Course starts on July 19, Monday morning.
The Course ends July 29, Thursday evening with a concert given by the participants.
Day of departure is Friday, July 30, 2010.

Participation fee: 120 000 HUF

The rooms are equipped with bath; price includes breakfast.
