Application Procedure
Prerequisites for enrollment

1) Applicants for the course in music pedagogy and choral conducting must have at least a bachelor's degree in music education or its equivalent. Applicants for the course in performance must have at least bachelor's degree in performance.

2) The language of instruction and examinations (both oral and written) is ENGLISH! Students whose first language is not English must submit a TOEFL exam (Test of English as a Foreign Language) with a score of 72-83 (Internet-Based), or 200-220 (Computer-Based), or 533-560 (Paper-Based) or an equivalent of this exam.

3) Applicants must fill in an application form and a questionnaire and send them accompanied by a detailed professional curriculum vitae, a copy of the highest school certificate, two letters of recommendation and two photos of passport size.

4) All documents should be sent to the following address:

Application deadline: March 1 of each year

5) Confirmation of acceptance will be sent to future students no later than May 1 of each year.

6) Appeal against unfavourable decision may be sent to the Board of the Institute (Kecskemét, P.O. Box 188. H-6001 Hungary).
